Joe Perry Fall Tour Cancel Because Of Recent Hospitalization

Joe Perry of Aerosmith performs onstage during the 2012 iHeartRadio Music Festival at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sept. 22, 2012 in Las Vegas.

Joe Perry has officially canceled his string of headlining tour dates, scheduled to kick off Nov. 30 in Sioux City, Iowa.

The news comes as the legendary guitarist and Aerosmith co-founder takes some time to recover following a recent hospitalization. The rocker joined Billy Joel onstage on Nov. 11 to perform "Walk This Way" at Madison Square Garden, and collapsed backstage after his cameo. He was treated by medics before taken to the hospital and released soon after.
Perry will be taking the rest of the year off. Fans who purchased tickets will receive full refunds.
